Problem with Norton Personal Firewall 2004

    I have a friend who is all of the sudden haveing trouble with her IE and NPF. Anyone else have compatibality issues with these 2 apps? Is there a place where NPF problems and workarounds have been posted so I can peruse them?

    Go to the link and run the test in the screen shot at the link. And it will auto detect your norton product and tell you of any issues with that product.

    HaHa. Contrary to appearances I did do a quick check of their site for help. Guess I didn't look carefully enough. Thanks. I'll have my friend follow through on your suggestion.

    Do you have any more detail on the problems being encountered?
    You might want to check the event logs (there are several) for an indication of what is going on.
