    Hi

I got something called 008K.com on my computer which I found was a variant of CWS. I scanned with many programs (Ad-aware, Spybot, Spysweeper, SpyDoctor, AVG antispyware...) One of these programs found it but couldnt delete it. Not even CWShredder couldn´t find it.
My browser gets redirected to "page can not be found" and my connection is getting slower every day.
Can someone please help me to get ridd of this thing?

No surprises there, as CWShredder only detects around 40 of the 400 CWS variants. I read somewhere that Trend have stopped updating CWSredder as a stand alone program.

    Hi

    Thanks for the reply.
I did as the instructions says and here is HJ logfile. None of the scans found nothing wrong. I also did Kaspersky online scan and it found a lot of locked objects. Should I post that too?

    HJ log:

Why not use System Restore to a date before you had the problem?

Please go to the link provided in post #2 and have your log analyzed. We no longer analyze logs at Wilders.

Well I tought the same thing about the restore but I think this CWS thing is so nasty it would somehow follow. When I did Kaspersky online scan there were many locked objects that scanner couldnt scan and some of those were restore folders....but sure I can give it a try, nothing to loose.

Sorry about the log, it said in the instructions - come back and post your log so I tought it was here.
