Hi - This should be simple.... I put a new firewire/usb2 card into my 2yr old Sony PC running XP. When I try to install the drivers for it - I get this vague error message halfway through "There was a problem with installation, your new hardware may not work properly" And guess what - it doesn't. I'm also getting a yellow ! in the device mgr next to this device. I tried some obvious fixes - but it keeps coming back to the same problem. Any tips? Mucho gracias! Deca

Did you move the card to a different PCI slot?
Sometimes the slot closest to the AGP slot isn't very cooperative.

Hi W - I don't think I have any other choices but the one that's left.

Switch the card anyway, then at least you know if my assumption is correct.
Another card may work fine in that slot.
