*First off if this isnt in the right place please move it*

Now Im not sure if its my Firewall or AV but, heres what Ive got:

    Win2K w/ SP4 and other updates.

    Running Outpost (FW)
Avast! (Main AV) & BD (Back-up)

Now everything was working fine, I installed them after I did a clean reinstall of Win2K - No probs at all - but now if I have them on an I try to get on EQ, EQIM or even IE it basiclly tells me 'Im not online' I end up disabling all of them and everything is back to norm.

Ide like to keep them on and have it all work like norm. but, if not then I see no point in me having them installed. I dont want to really uninstall them an use something diffrent I happen to like them.

    Thnx for any help.

Hm well I don't see any way that Avast would affect it; I would think there must be some setting on Outpost that isn't letting you "out" to the 'net... I've never used Outpost though :doubt:

All the same, there are lots of people around who know plenty about Outpost I do believe - hope they will show up and help or maybe this should get moved to a firewall section...
