I recently had a new hard drive installed on my Dell Dimension 2400 PC. Now when I turn it on, I get the DELL screen that stays on for several seconds, then a black screen that says: "Secondary Drive 1 not found. Strike F1 to continue, F2 to run Setup utility." Striking F1 brings up the Windows screen. How can I bypass these extra screens and go directly to the Windows screen so I can start my desktop. I am a PC novice, so please make it simple! Many thanks if anyone can help me.

    Hi
1- is it formatted or raw
2- have you set master/slave jumper correctly ->main HD master the 2nd one connected to the middle IDE set to slave
3-does the BIOS detect it. enter BIOS F2 and set detection to AUTO
