I have the documents bookmarked and printed, but I'll have to dig the hard copies out of my non-computer file system (for the marked up changes I made) to explain it, and look at the hard drive directories to see how I setup the scheme to do it with the flexibility to do what I wanted to do. I'll post what I can put together in the next couple of days.

Note: Reading the comments at the above linked articles definitely helped to clarify some issues.

Looks like I started a tutorial that I have yet to finish, but those articles are a good start.

I don't recommend all the steps be followed, but only the ones you think you need, like what packages to delete, and what packages you need to replace.
