    Hi

I was running Prevx with Norton 360

I removed Norton 360 and Prevx no lnoger worked, so I removed prev by control panel and the uninstaller, checked the registry that it was in deed gone and reinstalled.

I get the same message every time i.e.

    This is the log

    Hello,
Welcome to the forums! :) Could you try running our specialized removal tool from: http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?grab=csiuninstalltool to double check every piece is removed? I'm surprised to see the installation crashing but there may be an issue with a left-over component.

After running this tool, try rebooting your system to see if you can then install properly. If not, let us know and we'll investigate it further :)

    Thanks.

I tried as suggested with the removal tool and all went well. Prevx is now installed again :)

very good, and you have the best protection currently on the market. You can now dump Norton.

From what I have been reading in these forums, Symantec already signed him up for another year. ;)
