Prevx turned off

    This has happened before, can anyone explain to me why Windows action centre reports that Prevx is turned offo_O

    Works for days then I will receive this warning, yet protection seems to be enabled or maybe not:eek:

    Win7 x64
    Other installed software: MBAM real-time, PCTFW

    I actually saw this on one of our internal PCs recently - Protection does indeed remain enabled, but this seems to be some issue with the integration into the security center.

    Running these commands appears to fix it:

    sc stop wscsvc
    sc start wscsvc

    and it is definitely fixed after a reboot. We've made some changes to harden this integration but haven't been able to reproduce the problem on-demand (although the next version which we will be releasing should significantly lessen the effects).

    Yes I can confirm that:D
    It is very intermittent, and I am sure you will get on top of it:thumb:
