I had a problem in activating my present license and so contacted the official Prevx support through My Prevx.

But even though it was early on a Sunday morning here in the UK, I received a solution within 2 hours.

Together with their official support forum here, IMHO, they are the best software support I have dealt with in many years.

Top drawer support and understanding of customer's position...very rare these days.

They have advised / helped me on three occasions and even sorted a Vista install issue remotely - within an hour of my flagging the problem on this forum.

    Not a fan-boy; credit where it's due.

I need to also add this:

Yesterday, I submitted a sample to the email address and within 30 minutes, Prevx detected it. In the cloud is really amazing in terms of how quick the turn around time is and with the combination of human interaction (Joe), Prevx by far wins the race.

I just hope Prevx don't get big-headed and the prices start going up, thats when I click uninstall :(

I don't understand the pricing at the moment... £15 for a month or £19 for a year. Whats the point?

The bulk of the cost of supporting a user is from their first month (or even their first week in all actuality). With a license, you get included guaranteed malware cleanup as well as realtime protection/scanning/etc.

If for some reason our engine can't automatically clean a system, one of our engineers will remotely assist you or give you instructions to help clean it up.

The oblong pricing clearly pushes users towards the full year but there are users who are very dollar conscious and only want to clean their system that one time so the saved £4 matters.

Oblong pricing might be alright for some, others might prefer rectangular lol

    Keep up the good work.
