    Hi all

We have PrevX Enterprise licensed, and we've just migrated our server from SBS2003 to SBS2011. We need to reinstall PrevX. We do to use SQL locally. Two questions:

    1) Is there a specific version we should use for SBS 2011 (effectivelt 2008 R2 x64)
    2) Will I need to redeploy to the cleints (the server name has changed)

    Many thanks,

    Jim

    Hi Jim,
You can use the normal version of the Enterprise server on 2008 R2 x64 without a problem. You will likely need to redeploy the clients as the identification of the server is held within the MSI. There may be a scriptable way of expediting this but I'm not sure of the solution. You may want to try writing into our support inbox to see if the Enterprise team has a better answer - if you do, please PM me your email address so that I can assign it to the right team.

    Thanks!

Many thanks. We've installed the enterprise server and redistributed the endpoints, and it's all looking good.

    Cheers,

    Jim
