I know the question is controversial, but is Prevx compatible with Panda Cloud Antivirus? After days of testing (I've probably spent over 30 hours) I've found that the samples Prevx is missing Panda takes care of (especially fake AVs) and the stuff that Panda's missing Prevx will work wonders on.

Are they compatible with each other?

    Should not be any problems
Panda has local cache + cloud, PrevX is cloud only
PrevX is designed to work with 'any' other.
Even PrevX V4 that will have a local cache option will be compatible.

I am glad to hear that. Then I'll uninstall MSE in favour of Panda Cloud. :)

So far so good. I like it how Panda stops the suspicious files not even needing to start them. And I love how Prevx instantly stops launched .exe which Panda misses. I've tested over 150 new malware samples today and not one of them has passed!

Actually, it turned out PCA wasn't so good with Prevx. It REALLY slowed my PC down. Working a lot better with Avira Premium though!

On a side note, PCA may seem lightweighted but I dare to say it's bloatware with at best mediocre protection against unknown threats. PCA did stop most unknown threats, but only marked them as 'suspicious' and not removed... as they were with Prevx when executed or when scanned by Avira.

Did you do a full HDD scan with Panda CAV, this is needed to build up the 'known good files'
Otherwise it can take 1/2 days of background activity to do the same

If you are using Prevx and AntiVir together, for best results make sure that prevx.exe is added to "Processes to be omitted by the Guard" if you haven't done so already. That way AntiVir will ignore Prevx scans and you won't get any slowdown due to double-scanning by AntiVir. :)
