On Windows 7, I have both Prev 3.0 (free edition) and Microsoft Security Essentials installed, since they looked on the face of it to be complementary.

Are they infact complementary, or should I uninstall one of them?

Thanks a lot for your suggestions

They work very well together. You should add Prevx 3.0 Facebook edition which includes Safe Online for free (make sure you become a fan of Prevx on Facebook). Prevx 3.0 SafeOnline together with MSE would be an extremely efficient combination.

Hi nilwan22, and welcome to the Official Prevx Support Form!

I totally agree with shadek with his suggestion for the Free Full Facebook Version of SafeOnline! Make sure you uninstall the version you have before installing the Facebook version!

Here it the link to it! http://www.prevx.com/safebook.asp

    Dear shadek,Triple Helix,
Thanks very much for your advice. Glad to know they work well together. Just wondering, Can I still use the facebook edition of PrevX with Safe-Online even if I dont have a facebook account? I have never signed up for facebook largely because of privacy concerns.

    Thanks again,

You should be able to but I'm not sure because I don't have a Facebook account or ever used the Fasebook version, but try it and let us know with the link I provided! Maybe other users of the Facebook version can give us some insight? ;)

EDIT: You don't need to have a Facebook Account as I just installed it on one of my VM's with the link above provided without any problems! :thumb:
