I've been reading opinions and such on this board b/c I've been looking into some anti-malware products. It seems that Prevx has a pretty good reputation for being a solid product.

But I've looked on there website and I can't really tell the difference between CSI and 2.0. They're marketed at the same price so I that makes me believe that they're complimentary products? Wouldn't that suggest I'd need to get both ($50 total) if I wanted to use Prevx to protect my system?

I think I've read somewhere else on this forum that the scanning system for the two products were different. So is one necessarily better than the other or is either CSI or 2.0 being phased out? It seems a really confusing marketing system to me (at least on their website). I'm looking for a more or less complete security solution, if that helps anyone give me a suggestion (2.0,csi,both).

    Thanks

    this forum is biased!
i always thought prevx 2.0 offers more, including a realtime protection.

i dont understand why they are the same price, CSI should be lowered.

you certainly do not need both.

CSI is more of a on-demand protection, prevx 2.0 offers realtime protection aswell as on-demand.

at least, this is what i thought.

Thats my understanding on it too. The free CSI doesn't do clean up but the pay version of CSI does but both work "on demand".

I went with the full time 2.0 version.
