    Hello all,
I have seen variations of this question posed before, but they don't seem to answer my specific question.

I am expecting my purchased copy of ESET NOD32 v3 to arrive today from Newegg (unfortunately not the 19.99 version). My question is - I have made changes to my settings on my free copy, based on the help from this forum. Do I need to do a complete uninstall that copy and the install the purchased copy or can I enter my ID# to my presently installed free copy? Is a complete uninstall a better approach?

    Thanks for the help.

Usually you just type your new details over the old ones and on the next update everything is done. No need to uninstall.

Er... because this is the support forum for the product?
