I use Windows 7 and there are there power options blah blah blah

I was wondering if these power options increase the heat of the pc and reduce the life time of the pc?

I use the High Performance version cause I want max performance. I was wondering if this option increases the heat in my pc and reduces the life time of the pc?

Is there any pc cooling system that can be installed in any pc?

In practice, it matters not what power options is used. That PC can fail tomorrow or last you another 7 years.

Here's a discussion that indicates the high performance setting will decrease heat with the fan, while the energy saver mode will decrease heat by slowing the CPU.
