power management problems after install

Hi,

After installing nod32 on my HP Vista 32 machine, windows power management stopped fonctioning.

I've found an old thread https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=44992&highlight=power+management but not a real solution to my problem.

Does any-one knows what to do?

Not that I have any specific idea of where the problem lies but what power management we are talking about - the Windows one or the HP software that comes bundled with all HP laptops .

If it is the HP software , simply uninstall it and use the Windows one

Thanks for answering.

It's about the windows power version.

I just recieved feed-back from support with a procedure of uninstalling en re-installing to follow.

After re-install everything seemed to be back to normal...

Reason unknown but my problem is (temperarily) solved.
