Post limit per day?

Is there a post/ day limit for the forums. I got a message yesterday about excceding my limit and was not able to post.

Yes, there is, although it varies by length of membership, actually posting rate, and overall total posts for the member. Only about 4 or 5 people have ever hit a limit. Here's one past thread when someone ran into the limit. The exact number of posts someone may be limited to is not exact because of the variables involved, but it is a very high number. It appears that yesterday you did something like 60 posts in not too many hours, so you reached the limit.

No, it was never 60 I think, much less than that, as I have posted more than yesterday many times in past.
Anyway I was someone special yesterday.

Just a thought maybe it is one of the variables used, but sometimes a response is too fast and we regret the message. Maybe allow a time wait minimum before responding
