    Hi,
    I have just done a scan using AVG AS, and it has returned the following report:
    ---------------------------------------------------------
    AVG Anti-Spyware - Scan Report
    ---------------------------------------------------------

    + Created at: 16:58:19 14/03/2007

    + Scan result:

    HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Enum\HID\Vid_046d&Pid_c016\6&1fd12af&0&0000\LogConf -> Adware.PurityScan : Error during cleaning.

    ::Report end

    Could this be a false positive?
    I am running Kaspersky Internet Security, which doesn't find any trace of this 'purityscan'. Scanning with superantispy also finds nothing. Any ideas?
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
    please use the Windows registry editor (regedit.exe) to locate this detected key, then create a backup file (*.reg) of this key and send us this exported reg file:
