Ports

    Hi Guys,

    Ran GRC.c o m > ShieldsUp which said ports 20 & 21 were Closed not Stealth.

    How would I stealth them? I'm using a Linksys E3000 router

    Is it important that these ports be stealth?

    If you don't have an FTP server it does not matter as nothing on them will respond. If you do it depends on if you want to publicly access it. Also, if your internet account is residential, your ISP may already be blocking them anyway.

    Go to your router settings and disable "FTP server". It is enabled by default -
