Anybody knows what's the use for that port and if there is a potential security risk to leave it open ??

    Thanks Gio

While common services may be associated to certain ports, it does not always mean that is in fact what the port is being used for/by.

Do you have this port listening on your system? If so, have you determined which service/application is holding it open? If the open port/service is exposed to the outside then it could be a risk if the service/application is vulnerable.

If you system/network is firewalled and does not allow any inbound connections, then the outside will not see this service/application listening on your system.

    Regards,
