Poor Quality Media Message

I was making an image of my OS last night using v10 as advised in another thread. I was saving the image to 6 DVDs. This process looked to be taking 2 hours. All went well until TI decided it didn't like the last disc, it reported that it couldn't continue with the process and that the likely cause was "poor quality media". There was an OK button which I pressed ... and that was it, start again time!

Am I missing something here ... couldn't TI be coded such that you get the chance to try a different disc?

OK, having just read the user manual for v10 it seems there is an option to split the archive into chunks when saving to a HDD for later burning to DVD. I will try this option today.
