I have a question for Chromium users (not Chrome). Do you know where I can find policy templates for that browser? I checked Chromium site that distributes templates but it seems that they have only templates for Chrome: https://www.chromium.org/administrators/policy-templates. I know that I can do it manually (replacing Software\Policies\Google\Chrome\ with Software\Policies\Chromium\) but I would prefer to use Gpedit instead of Regedit. Any help would be appreciated.
Update for those that might be interested: Policies set through registry are not recognized by Chromium (apparently that's by design) so they have to be applied through policy template. Since I haven't find template on net, I modified ADM file for Chrome and now it works.
Removed "CATEGORY !!google" (start and end) "CATEGORY !!googlechrome" replaced with "CATEGORY !!chromium" KEYNAME "Software\Policies\Google\Chrome" replaced with KEYNAME "Software\Policies\Chromium" in all keys In [Strings] section added chromium="Chromium" IDK if all those changes are needed - they seemed logical to me... When you add policy templates through Gpedit it checks template and gives you information if there is any error (it reports in which line there is a problem).
