    Ick, this is nasty. PlugX is a remote access trojan; people developing software on the same machines might find nasty stuff committed to their repositories...

    I have always considered these game launchers a great security risk. They are like browsers with admin rights instead of a sandbox.

    I don't bother with current games myself, but I know of a bunch of roguelike developers who do, so...
