spybot and adaware are obsolete and if i were to use spybotit would be for the immunization feature it has. Its teatimer is not really that good and both spybot and adaware have weak detection rates. You shoudl consider gettign superantispyware or avg AS(Ewido)

A-Squared is another good choice for antispyware.

    The best firewall?
I use and really like Comodo.

I personally have used a-squared, Ewido/AVG, Counterspy, and SuperAntiSpyware. I do not know which is best, but I liked Counterspy the least, although I believe it to be one of the best.

You can see at my signature which ones I prefer. A combination of Avira and any of the above will be very secure, and which you choose depends upon how well each runs on your system.

    Regards,
    Jerry
