If you decide to apply the global hook protection do you need to reboot or just shut pg down and then restart also when you start getting logs that somthing was blocked because of the global hook protection do you just go ahead and add it to pg and alow global hooks?that seems to be the thing that i don't understand the most about this program.

If you see a log and the application that is in the log shows some weird behaviour (ie it crashes when it never used to) then you should add it. There are a lot of "blocked hooks" that don't really matter one way or another if they are blocked. So we leave it up to the user whether or not they want to allow applications that get blocked hook logs.
