    Greetings:

Thank you in advance for any help offered. I am running TDS3, PG, Spybot, NOD32, Ewido, SpywareBlaster and Adaware.

In addition I use Cyberscrub and whilst deleting some material, at the end of the Cyberscrub run but just before it logs off, a Trojan alert popped up from NOD32 that AMON had found a file:

    C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\***\LOCAL SETTINGS\TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES\OIMOWPU.RLF\YB4N89MR\brief3[1].htm

    probably modified trojan Perl/Exploit.Generic.AK deleted

My question then is if NOD32 had not detected this would TDS3 have picked this up and does anyone know from whence these perl/exploit possible trojans come from? I used google and could find nothing.

As far as I know TDS doesn't detect the exploits but would detect any actual trojan that was downloaded to your computer as a result of the exploit when it tries to install or run provided TDS has bben updated for that trojan
