    Hi all,

When using Raxco PerfectDisk 8, is it worth compacting and defragging the registry ? (respectively with NTREGOPT and PageDefrag)
I mean : doesn't PerfectDisk take care of it with its offline defragmentation ?

    Thanks for your help ;)
    Cheers

PerfectDisk's offline defrag takes care of the pagefile, MFT, and hibernate file.

NTREGOPT would still be useful to compact the registry.

If offline defrag doesn't work [drive is dirty etc,] mostly a chckdisk wil solve the problem.
