    PE GUARD is a small program that protects you from:
    A virus / program trying to copy itself to your pc.
    A virus / program trying to inject itself into one of your PE(Portable Executeable) files.
    Any rootkit / program trying to write a new Driver(.sys) file in your PC

    Where did you find out about this?

    The link to the authors site from Softpedia is broken, and a search for the software homepage winds up here: http://opaida.110mb.com

    Free hosting, using free email states he's a hacker and the download zip leads to a free template site.

    No, i mean i'm always up for a good adventure but on this one i think i'll pass. It "may" indeed be a great program, but it's origins are kind of dubious. :D

    is a great light disk firewall . test this software in a virtual enviroment
    and you will see how strong it is
    i hope the vendor of the software communicate with wilders for more information about this software..........

    'PROROOTECT downloads' series Today!

    PE Guard v1.1 - from Opaida link (from left side): http://opaida.110mb.com/

    Yes, we have a POWER & FREE & NEW defender! Thank you Opaida!

    Setup install:

    C\Program Files\OPS\PE GUARD

    PEG.exe : allow for StartupMonitor ...

    I make the Restart of PC ...

    Warning from Winy Tatcher:

    * PEG.sys
    * HKLM\...\Run\PE GUARD (created)
    * C\Program Files\OPS\PE GUARD\PEG.exe

    I click Confirm, Confirm, Confirm.

    Now: I have the window: 'Run as': 'What user account do you use to run this program? - The current user (PROROOTECT here!)'. OK.

    I see WIZARD, second Wizard!.. : 'Welcome to PE GUARD v1.1 First RUN Wizard. ... complete installation ...'

    .. and I see TINY, yes very tiny window: 'ERROR! Access denied. OK.'

    I make restart .. and this same story ...

    Maybe my DEP...? Yes, For all ... Maybe?

    Yor comments, please ...
