Which PDF Readers have support for East Asian Languages? I know that Foxit and Adobe have East Asian Language Support, but what about the others?
Nitro PDF reader. I find it to be quite fast, no bloatware and user friendly Microsoft Office style GUI.
Chrome's built-in and Google Docs Viewer for Linux Chromium. Don't keep anything else permanently due to lack of use.
I started using PDF-XChange on one PC not long ago. I still use Foxit on the other two PC's. If PDF-XChange works out OK for me, I will switch to PDF-XChange on the other two PC's.
I've always used Adobe Reader religiously since it simply works but after i checked this tread i decided to tried other options and now im using Foxit, fast and simple!
PDF-XChange Editor -- ever since they released the new v3 (successor to the Viewer), I've never been as happy to find something that can finally rival (and with certain content surpasses) Adobe Reader's text rendering quality.. I tested just about every other free reader and they all share the old weaknesses of fuzzy/blurry text.
I didn't realize until a couple of days ago that Firefox had added a basic pdf reader starting with a recent version of Firefox. Sometimes I could not read a pdf document and there was a message something about using a different pdf reader to view the pdf document. Initially I blamed this problem on Foxit Reader. Now I know to change the default pdf reader in Firefox to Foxit Reader.
I'm still using an old version of Foxit Reader, but looks like I will be switching to PDF-XChange Viewer.
This poll respectfully needs to be retired. The dates are ancient. Lots of water under the bridge. Hopefully someone steps in with a new poll.
