Now after this new marketing name even those very few home users who are looking for a standalone AT most probably will go with another AT which sells under a name realated to trojans or malware, While many people who are looking for AS either will go with another AS that do better in defending against spyware. Very logic and simple.

This is only one test. If you are looking at these tests

    http://www.malware-test.com/antispyware.html

and combine those 3 last tests where ewido 4 was within together with these apps, so ewido wasn't so poor than Pc Mag was saying but the others were too. What we can do with sofwares, where even the best is unable to clean over 45 %?

you know every review for each antispyware can be different and everyone has their own opinions. Pc Mag last yr rated spyware sweeper the best and when i had it, it slowed the computer down to a crawl when it did a scan and did the same to some of my clients computers so I removed it. The following year PC Mag sweared that Spyware Doctor is the best, that one took forever to load on startup and when they did a major update it knocked off my sound and moved my computer to a crawl when it did start up and I had to do a system restore to get everything working properly again and to tell you the truth it had more false positives then any antispyware program out there. On some of my clients computers it would not allow them to logon to Windows xp the first round, they had to shut the computer down and try at least 3x to get in and forget trying to switch users, it behaved nasty there too. An uninstall of the program and everything was back to normal. I still have it on some clients computers that did not have this problem but it still loads very slow on startup and i constantly get phone calls about it, and when it expires I will remove it completly unless it hiccups some more and I will remove it then.

There is no perfect antispyware program out there. If there was we would not need anything else but the "perfect" antispyware program. That is why you need more than one and perform "safe internet" to make sure you do not get a "baddie"

The winner is decided by the test environment and the same winner can be a loser in another test environment. It's just a matter of luck to be a winner.
