Check the edit in my post.....more than likely your right, but I knew it was there at one time  :D

[edit] Ok I checked the new 2009.1 ISO :) The Gnome Control Center is still there, only it doesn't show by default.

System> Preferences> Main Menu> System, check the box for Control Center and it'll now show...System> Control Center

The rookie is watching..:D Riding on the coattails ...
Have used both Gnomic interface and KDE in PCLOS.
FWIW: I like the very polished look of the Gnome release.
    I'm sorry, I like Gnome ..
Have had issues with KDE on and off.
Will go back to KDE when the Rippers are happy with 4.2 release.
    Current Distro list:
    PCLOS x 2
Wolvix Beta going great, great great ; lots of activity on the forum lately.
Really, despite miniscule user base, and I know we've been through this before, any one who installs Wolvix seems to be happy.
( over 100 dl's from my ISP mirror since release lol: massive user base ;) )
    Keeping up with Chakra
    Suse I still like sometimes.
Arch in retirement currently, haven't booted it for months, not sure why...??
Haven't fallen for the Jumping Jellybeans ...yet....I know: it works
Mint lurking but not in use.
Was having some fun with Mandriva waiting for PCLOS
Like Dream Linux style very much; very active support in the forums from devs.
    I'm Such a Tool !! o_O just cant decide.
Really PCLOS and Wolvix do it for me: just have picked the distros a couple of distros with a small dev base and long release schedule.
    Hand crafted see .. :)
Difficult to say how much Texstar's absence affected this release schedule, but in the interim the Rippers did great.

Only have very simple needs here.
    :thumb:
PS seems Wolvix.org is currently off line: hope this is short term issue. :(
    Edit: Wolvix.org is up now.
