    The website sure suggests so:

Earlier, PC Security Shield was powered by Hauri Virobot technology. If the customer support is good enough and the product and website are usable enough, then PCSH may come out as a decent solution. It is priced at $5.99 per month, or $59.99 for 1 year's services for 1 computer.

Though makes me wonder why would anyone use a 3rd 3rd party program.
I mean F-Secure is already a derivate of Kaspersky. PC Security Shield is the third "generation".

F-Secure is pretty costly compared to PCSH, maybe thats why?

I guess developing a 3rd gen product means lower costs, considering that in such cases, the time taken for engine implementation is probably lower...eScan was once a 3rd gen product, with the KAV engine used "as implemented by GDATA technologies" (direct quote from early documentation). Now they use their own implementation of the engine though.
