My Windows 98 SE system is crashing (the screen is freezing up). After about 10 minutes of use, the hour glass appears on the mouse and everything freezes. Any ideas?

Yo...You seem to get problem after problem on your PC! I'm not a software guy, but if the problem's in your hardware, your CPU or memory or graphic card is probably heating up causing a freeze-up...

Certain NVIDIA cards had problems with fan working on certain drivers...cant remember but I think the NVIDIA graphics cards affected were the GeForce4 Ti4600, GeForce FX 5200 and GeForce FX 5800 Ultra.

There is a very good article here that you can read regarding the cleaning of the inside of your computer. I personally do mine every couple of months and it is surprising how much dust has built up in such a short space of time. Monthly would be better
