pc cant connect to the web

    i have a network of 6 pc all connected by a router.
    i have this particular pc with winxp home, this puter had a lot of spyware and i clean it all, rebbot the pc and now i cant connect to the internet, i put another network adapter, a new network cable and still can surf the web, all the other pcs r ok.
    my question is can spyware corrupt some windows files, sockets or something, the pc dont give me any type of error, any suggestions please o_Oo_Oo_O?
