PayPal fixes phishing hole

I think that Netcraft reported this also.
Has anyone used the Netcraft toolbar? It appears to be pretty good. I wonder if it does anything that Spoofstick won't?

I got such an email months ago, I mentioned this in another topic, but have they only just discovered this phishing hole? Or is this a new case?

Your case didn't involve cross-site scripting (I know, because I checked that url when you posted it some months ago). It was probably just an HTML mail showing an address but actually directing you to another one (again, did you check the HTML source!?!?)

 

OK my bad then, but AFAIK it directed me to a real PayPal site.

You can still find the link in the other thread but if I remember correctly back then I got to see a login page, now I don´t, but since I´m not even a member of PayPal I´m quite sure that this was a scam, don´t you think? But perhaps I´m just paranoid. Wait a minute now I get to see a loginpage again, a minute ago I got an error page.
