    Hello,

    I'm new here so I hope someone ca help me with my problem.
    I've used PAT for a while now with no problems at all.
    I had a OCZ Vertex SSD and when I had to align my C-partiton (boot), it always did the job.

    Now I bought a Vertex 2 and put an image on it (from the 'older' Vertex).
    I've started PAT to see if my partition was still aligned and it wasn't.
    So clicked the 'align my partitions' button and the computer restarted, so far so good.

    When the PAT software started (before Windows starts) and it wants to align the partition, it does a couple of things (checks integrity and stuff) and then restarts the computer again.
    When Windows boots up again, PAT comes with the message:
    Partition not aligned

    What is going wrong hereo_O
    Can somebody help, please?

    I suppose, alignment is aborted becasue of file system errors.

    Try to run CheckDisk for the partititon on Vertex2:
    * right-lcick C: and select Properties
    * go to Tools - Error checking and click Check Now.
    * enable 'Fix file system errors automatically' and run the operation.
    Once completed, try to run alignment again.
