Well we knew this was going to happen once McAfee/Intel bought them. Everyone that purchased a lifetime membership to Passwordbox has just been informed it will 'decay' in 6 months. They are telling people to 'enjoy the remaining 6 months free!'. So first we have the Mixpanel scandal (as I call it) I exposed - where Passwordbox was sending data (constantly) to a data mining firm. Who wouldn't be worried about a password manager pumping data into a mining firm? I certainly was, and they quickly blocked me on Facebook after I exposed this. Now we are informed - all paid lifetime memberships are going away in 6 months.
