    Hi,

I have the latest version of True Image Home Edition v9.0 b3.6.33.

I have activated the StartUp Recovery Manager which appears on boot-up.

Does anybody know whether, and how I can set up a password to prevent changes by unauthorized individuals with this feature enabled?

    Thanks,

    Whistlebird

    Hello Whistlebird,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

I'm afraid that it's impossible to set up a password on Acronis Startup Recovery Manager.

However, you can deactivate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager and use the bootable rescue media when you need to boot your computer in rescue mode.

We can also recommend you to use Acronis OS Selector which is a part of Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0.

If needed, you can protect any installed operating system with a password to prevent its unauthorized booting by means of Acronis OS Selector.

Please find the detailed information of how to use Acronis OS Selector in Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 User's Guide.

    Thank you.
