BTW. In KeePass 2.xx if you didn't ticked option Two-Channel Auto-Type Obfuscation (TCATO) for every entry in your database - KeePass Global Auto-type - can be easily bypassed using e.g. LowLevel Keyboard Hook keylogger's method.

In RoboForm - after install it is ready to go, you don't have to remember to set this, because it's configure already by default.

Thanks for mentioning this Creer. I have no idea why Keepass dont just enable this by default.

You are welcome, I'm writing now article about keyloggers and passwords leaks so I had to check this by self. KeePass is my favourite pass manager application but I don't like that: 1. TCATO is not enabled by default (if you have big password database you have to spend many hours to fix it)
    2. TCATO even if enabled not always works correctly, few times keepass sent wrong simulated keypresses and I couldn't log in until I unticked TCATO... :cautious:

It looks like RoboForm is the best password manager on these days, but I'm not familiar how RF storage your passwords - it's weird comparing to KeePass where it is clear and simple.

BTW. During Black Friday Weekend, you can get RoboForm with 33% discount:

    Hi Creer,

check this out from the link you provided me on TCATO:

Would this explain some of the problems you've been having with TCATO?

PS: I would appreciate if you provided me with a link to your article when you're finished. Thanks.

Yes I have read this but the problem in my case is - It was happened when I was trying to log in on bank account via FireFox browser. So it looks like TCATO is not always perfect solution but it irritating me that I have to choose between safe log in (with TCATO) and normal un-safe log in (without TCATO - when it failed). o_O

OK, I'll send you a PM with link to this article when it will be done.

Is this a problem with the 1.xx versions as well? Thanks.

As far as I remember version 1.xx doesn't offer TCATO so that version was/is more vulnerable on keyloggers.
TCATO was implemented first time in 2.xx version of KeePass.
