Thanks - in view of your comment I thought I would take a look at it but I cannot any mention of it. If you can recolect anything that would be good.
I have looked back at it... the function is custom field within a password entry. Each custom field has a Name (in your case the position...1,2,3,4,5,6,7) and a Value (i.e. the corresponding characters). Then you will add the view of custom field in the toolbar and finally selecting any custom field from the dropdown menu will copy the value in memory.
Thanks for the reply. I have had another look at it but it would seem it uses the same method of compiling some sort script as does Keepass.
I am now using LastPass, plus it works flawless with Sandboxie, which makes LastPass a winner for me.
slightly off topic, but which android password manager integrates best and doesnt need a subscription fee. i have tried some but due to legal restrictions with the builtin browser autofill isnt allowed, so the various password managers use their own builtin browsers and various soloutions. but i want something that offers something as close to autofill as used by roboform and others as possible, but still easy and simple to use as possible with as little user interaction as possible
I am new to password manager. Never tried one. Now tried Norton Identity Safe & LastPass. I am not an expert. I like Norton Identity Safe than LastPass coz LP has many options & being not an expert I like Norton with few easy to understand options. And also the system is shared by the family, all average users so I think they too will find Norton easy to use than LP. How good is Norton Identity Safe?
Trying out Steganos Password Manager since Steganos Privacy Suite 15 was given away. I like that I don't have to pay for their Android/iOS apps so far...
Keepass2Android will do the job. You can pass login and password via Copy/Paste or Keepass2Android keyboard.
I've used Datavault for the past two years with very good success. It has the ability to synch through either wifi or Dropbox. Datavault from what I can see has a lot of similar elements to those contained in Keepass2 and 1password. I have quite a few passwords I have to remember at my job and Datavault on my IPhone 5 and now 6 have never let me down. I also have it on my Windows computers.
I was literally hours from moving off of Dashlane when they hit me with an update noticed to a totally revamped v4. I guess I'll hang in there a while longer. The main issue with it has been reliability. Otherwise I really like it. The payments piece has save me a ton of time.
I started using Enpass recently to have an alternative to LastPass available to me. The passwords are stored locally & encrypted. You can sync to GDrive, Dropbox etc also. Has much lower memory use than LP.
Yes, Install n' Setup n' Documentation is easy/intuitive....one hiccup is Error 403 that as work around I have to uncheck = "Verify browsers" = FF 43.0.4x64.....? Edit: have to Uncheck = Verify browser with FF 43.0.4x64.....? Memory is twice KeePass for same database Enpass Export as Txt is +.
Yeah I was referring to the memory footprint in the browser itself in Chrome. LastPass has a tendency to start using gobs more memory than other extensions. If I remember when I tried setting verify browsers there was a warning pop up of some kind. I've never found a decent browser extension for KeyPass in Chrome which really kept me from pursuing that.
Enpass pop-up with Verify browsers checked.... instructs pull fresh setup. Since, I pulled fresh setup 10min before pop-up. I've emailed Enpass. For KeePass in Chrome I run chromeIPass. I've got KeePass/KeeFox on the bench while I'm exercising Enpass. Thanks
This is the pop up I get immediately when checking that off. "verification of browser not available in linux version"
Hello AutoCascade, other than Error 403 #170 upon open new browser tab....no pop up with check Verify browsers. My mistake #172. I was thinking of the pop up upon Show Enpass.
