One of the options - Type 1 cards - at the first link lets you create cards with up to 8 pre-existing passwords; the field "Masterpassword" specifies which central black-on-yellow letter in which your password letters are placed on the surrounding 8 square grid. That's why you shouldn't repeat any letters in the Masterpassword field. You needn't memorize the Masterpassword field; you can just memorize the start letter, password length, movement direction, wrap direction, and number of letters to skip. Skipping two letters works nicely to cycle through the alphabet.
