    All of a sudden PartitionExpert has beem giving us the same error message whenever we try to perform any change(s). While it's in Windows it works fine, but as soon as it reboots to perform a function it gives us a "ERROR: can't find disk" message :( We are using the latest build. We also tried reinstalling but still no joy.

    How should we fix this? Thanks.

    Hello AngelArs,

    Thank you for using Acronis software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/).

    We are really sorry for the inconveniences.

    Could you please do the following?

    - Create bootable rescue diskettes;
    - Open the bootwiz.cfg file on the first diskette;
    - Remove the "quiet" keyword from the last line;
    - Boot the computer from the bootable rescue diskettes and wait for # prompt to appear;
    - Issue the following commands:

    cd tmp
    mkdir mntdir
    mount /devfs/floppy/0 mntdir
    sysinfo > mntdir/sysinfo.txt
    umount mntdir

    - Send the sysinfo.txt file from the diskette to support@acronis.com along with the reference to this thread.

    Thank you.

    When we enter in the third command (mount /devfs/floppy/0 mntdir) and press enter for the next line, it replies back with;

    What should we do or try next?

    Hello AngelArs,

    Please contact support@acronis.com and let our Support Team know what version of Acronis Partition Expert you use (Standard or Personal) and the build of this version.

    Thank you.
