Partition Recovery

    I have deleted the Windows XP partition from my hard disk by mistake. I booted from the Windows XP CD to install on another drive but selected the wrong drive and delete the partition but did not format the drive. I've downloaded the eval version of Disk Director Suite 10 and used the Partition Recovery option and selected the disk that showed as free space but it doesn't show any partions for recovery. Is this a limitation of the eval version or would I be wasting my money buying the full version if it is not going to do this once off recovery?
