partition question

Hi,
I've a 150GB hard disk & during the installation, I did not partition it.
When I use Acronis Director to partition the drive into another primary drive,
the new drive could not be seen in WinXP's Computer management ultility but
the initial C drive is now left with 49GB & 9GB free space.

Please advice what should I do & why I cant see the new drive.

Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

Please run Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management, choose Disk Management, maximize the size of window and make a screen shot of this window, then create Acronis Report (see https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317), please attach your new hard drive before running AcronisReport.exe and send to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread. This will allow us to investigate the problem.
