Most be a local and/or load problem. I was able to download Exact Image on the first shot and Drive Copy after a number of tries and a wait. Both on vanilla Firefox, both were quick when they worked.

Baigle, this is for everyone and Drive Copy is like Drive Wipe of Terabyte.
At last I could downloaded Drive Copy, I had to try many times. Exact Image is like Acronis 8, you can make a "capsule"(hidden partition) and store there the backup copy, or if you want to CD-DVD or another Drive. It doesn't make diferencial backups, well I haven't seen this on it. Very good program, keep trying to download it if you haven´t get it.

    To make it less boring.
(I suspect a typo with your registration key, I usually do the copy/paste trick for that kind of actions.)

After wiping the cache, history etc in all browsers. Cause I think with some browsers theres some common/crossover cache, history etc. Try closing the browsers not just a window maybe even a reboot.

    To those having trouble registering.
The file on the home site is a different size (11.7MB vs 12.1MB) than the original link. So if this is you get it from OP's link.

Downloaded both. Now I have to figure out what to do with it. Life is indeed NOT simple.
If I ever need them, they will be out-to-date.

    Hi, anybody tried Exact Image.
I did a restore on two laptops just for test and on both I saw that after restore there is something different with the boot screen, the animated (three-dots) scrolling bar that apperas during boot up now scrolls just about 3 times while it always used to scroll more than 5-6 times before. Also some images I was not able to explore( it said unsupported image), another image I was not able to restore as well. More weired is that, on one restore, the restored image was missing the Exact Image installation itself!!!
Seems a bit buggy to me.

The website of Paragon looks better than your restoration.
Which image backup software are you using normally ?

As per your ever watchful eye....you are correct.....I had a 'Zero' (0) mixed up with a 'Capitol O'........:D :D

The Programme is now not only D/Ld but I have a Full Backup of my HDD on four DVDs......:D (That actually work as expected)....Using DVD-Rs......no wasted Discs whatsoever...no problems..........Bye Bye Acronis into the Bin....:D

I feel the same get outa here ATI. Exact Image is simple & it works. Acronis MigrateEasy is a longtime favorite of mine. Looking at the interfaces it's hard to believe ATI & AME are both by Acronis. One so simple & the other .....
One day I'll give Drive Copy a try. But I'll put that off. I'm afraid it'll lead to a painful breakup between AME & myself.

does DriveImageXML have a rescue cd and can it verify images?

also, how does Exact Image compare to Acronis?

For ne I never got ATI to work. Over 3yrs, at least a dozen tries.

Exact Image worked the 1at time.

DriveImageXML has BartPE plugin and I boot from BartPE CD to image/ restore.
U can browse images. About verification, probably not but I am not sure as I use it infrequently but I will re-check and let u know later. BTW, none of my images were corrupted on restore( again I don,t image very often). It has good speed and compression.

ExactImage I tried and found it buggy, see my post no.36 here.

ATI, just used yesterday, version 7, it was my first time to use it, did not do a restore yet but I really like it. Seems very nice product. Good GUI and very nice image exploration.
I tried its rescue CD on 3 laptops and it was able to work on two but did not boot on third one( anyway that 3rd laptop is notorious in my experience to play with any linux based OS)

I can,t compare the features of ExactImage and ATI as my experience is very limited.

    thx aigle.

well now that i got the right cd, i have to say i was rather disappointed with the GUI. its far, far different than ATI and its also different than when u run Exact Image under Windows.
