Paragon Drive Back Up 9.5 Pro - will not open - settings.xml problem

Hi,

Just downloaded and installed Paragan Drive Back Up 9.5 Pro - the free giveaway this week version.

When I first installed it - it opened allowing me to see the main panel etc.

I created a recovery disk.

However, now when I try to open the software to do my first back up i get this message:

*Operation Failed:

Could not read application settings. File settings.xml does not exist.
Please contact your system administrator to resolve the problem

Can you please advise as to what I should do?

I'm now very worried about the stability of this program and am wondering if I should just uninstall it and use something else.

Please note I am not an advanced computer user -- so please keep advice at a level for the layman - thanks.

Hopefully you've kept the registration numbers that were sent to you. Then I would do a complete uninstall using the Add/Remove program, then reinstall the program. Appears there is a glitch somewhere, perhaps this would fix it. Let us know....
