I've been using paragon backup&recovery 2013 free edition for a while with no problems at all. Today, I've run a backup of my system, and 1/2 through, the "time left" starts to increase from about 15 minutes to 28 minutes, at which point everything freezes. No mouse movement.. nothing. I've left it a while, thinking maybe it was busy doing something, but after 20 minutes had to press the power button to reboot. I've tried it 3 times and exactly the same thing, and it looks like exactly the same place. I've run chkdsk and all appears fine. Any thoughts anyone ?. Is there a log thats written to, that might give me an idea as to why its freezing ? Running Windows 7. Thanks
No disk smart :-( As I needed to backup, I installed AOMEI backup and that has run fine, no problems at all. Curiouser and curiouser !
