Okay so I've got the site problem figured out. Once you click the first download link, you have to let it redirect you to the V3 Store. Then try and download Paragon BR10 Compact from the store site. It will give you the script error message most times. To try again, do not refresh the page & do not go back to the previous page. Instead go straight to the V3 store home page again, and click the Paragon link again. Continue trying to download it this way only, and it'll work sometimes. This is how I got it just now. I used this method for both the 32bit and 64bit versions. Both took multiple attempts, but it worked.

Yup, it appears to be fixed now. I can click download over and over and it works.

I have tried both the Compact Edition and the Free Edition, and decided to use the Free Edition. The features that the Compact Edition has that are lacking in the Free Edition include file-based backups, Backup Capsule, and the ability to backup to FTP.

The file-based backup feature, not found in the Free Edition, has some characteristics that I do not desire. There is no capability to do user-initiated integrity checks on file-based archives. Also, when I restored a corrupt file-based archive (purposely corrupted for testing purposes), one file restored corrupted without any corruption warning, while another file was correctly skipped due to corruption but the corruption warning was easy to miss in the user interface.

Given these considerations, and the fact that the Free Edition should have updated versions available in the future, I decided to use the Free Edition.

I also tried both versions and with the free version I was not able to back-up drives that had a Windows rescue/restore partition on it. There was another thread on this subject and a number of work-a-rounds were offered but they were just work-a-rounds. I found that the compact version did not have this problem so along with a few other things that compact could do that the free version could not, and the fact that both were free, and the further fact that I would expect it possible to upgrade the compact version to a higher version at a discount at some point in the future,,,it was a simple decision.

Still not decided if I want to replace my Macrium Free with this one...
e.g. can we restore an entire system partition from windows or only from a bootable dvd like Macrium?

From either bootable disk, usb media, or from Windows,

and why would you replace Macrium? Seems to me to be a good idea to use both just in case one of them fails. It is free after all and I can tell you there are things that you can do with Paragon compact that you cannot do with any other program I have tried to date. Want to access a file from an archive, just open Paragon, navigate to the archive containing the file, double click the appropriate file in the archive and the imaged files are there. No need to mount a virtual dive at all. Very nice program,,,,and of course its free if you act quickly.

BTW, I use SP on my desk-top and RX on my lap-top and I have added Paragon compact to both.
