Paragon 10.1 fails on Windows 7 Home Premium

    I have downloaded and tried every Paragon Backup Free release for Windows 7 that I can find. The error I get when trying to do a backup is

    " A part of Paragon System Utilities has stopped working"

    I have turned off UAC, which stopped "Access Error" and now get the above error. Anyone have any help on this, thanks.

    Hello JoeRedHook,

    Are you running Windows 7 64bit? How far and what part of the backup did you get to? Are you getting a prompt to restart?

    What I would try to test first is do a backup of only the OS partition, exclude the MBR, and 100MB utility partition that's there if you did a clean install of Windows 7.

    Can you tell us what the error code you received?
