Panda IS 2008

    Has anyone tried Panda Internet Security 2008? Any idea how it would compare to NIS 2008 or KIS 2008? Also, is Norton Antibot worth adding to NIS 2008?

    Excuse the reference to KIS 2008. Of course, it should have been KIS 7. Oops.

    panda is light, with decent detection rates.

    my only query about them, is their cleaning ability.

    Agreed, I have Panda AV 2008 on one of my boxes and it is remarkably light. The only occasional slowdown I notice seems to come from the HTML scanning. I'll be glad to see them return to AV Comparatives next year to see how they are really doing...:cool:

    in a recent review by pcmag,it said panda is 2008 is the best they have tested in detecting and cleaning spyware&av samples.....
    i wonder how much does it weigh in people's opinion though...

    It works pretty well.
    I guess I have to change my name to the tester or something. Just like trjam. But PIS 08 works fast and when I see those results it looks very safe as well.
